ÌÇÐĹÙÍø’s strong value, return on investment, and career outcomes were once again demonstrated by excellent job and graduate school placement results for the Class of 2025.

With 100% of graduates reporting their post-graduation status, 95% of ÌÇÐĹÙÍø’s Class of 2025 secured employment, enrolled in graduate school, or entered military service within six months of graduation. This placement rate reflects ÌÇÐĹÙÍø’s longstanding commitment to transparency, as one of the few colleges nationally to calculate placement rates for the entire graduating class rather than only survey respondents. This year’s outcomes also reflect a continued growing number of graduates who are choosing to delay immediate placement, including those pursuing internships, returning to their home countries, or reassessing opportunities, all of whom are included in the overall calculation. 

Graduates from the Class of 2025 reported an average starting salary of $82,005, with the highest accepted offer reaching a record $205,000. Career opportunities spanned 37 U.S. states and Washington, D.C., as well as Germany, India, and Japan.
 

Key Highlights

• Majors with 100% Placement Rates: Biochemistry, biology, chemistry, civil engineering, computer engineering, engineering design, NanoEngineering, and software engineering.
• Exceptional Placement Rates: Chemical engineering (98%), biomedical engineering (97%), and mechanical engineering (96%).
• Top Salaries: Six majors—chemical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, mechanical engineering, and software engineering—reported high starting salaries ranging from $107,000 to $205,000.
   

Employers and Graduate Schools

Graduates accepted positions with 231 unique employers, including Caterpillar, Epic Systems, Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division, Marathon Petroleum, Rolls-Royce, Texas Instruments, ThermalTech Engineering, Applied Signal Technology, Keysight Technologies, RTX (Collins Aerospace), Honeywell, Milwaukee Tool, Modineer Group, and Zernicke Precision Optics. 

For those continuing their education, graduates were accepted into 50 graduate schools, including esteemed institutions such as Brown University, Carnegie Mellon University, Northwestern University, Ohio State University, and Stanford University.

Meanwhile, new federal earnings data , with graduates earning a median salary of $105,649 just four years after graduation—the highest of any college or university in Indiana and ahead of many Ivy League peers. Incorporated into FAFSA and the College Scorecard, the new indicator reinforces RHIT’s long-standing focus on strong return on investment, career placement, and preparing graduates for immediate and long-term professional success.
